Rev. E.W. Gray Dies in Tampa
Funeral Services Will Be Held in Columbus Today
Rev. E.W. Gray, formerly of Columbus and for a number of years a Methodist minister, died at Tampa, Fla., Tuesday night, according to information received here by friends. Funeral services will be held in Columbus this afternoon at 3 o'clock.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. M.E. Gray, of Columbus, and was about fifty-eight years old. He was an electrical engineer as well as a minister and had not been an active preacher for several years.
Besides his wife, who was Miss Bessie Gaddis, he was survived by three daughters, Mrs. Spencer Johnson and Misses Alice Tyler and Genevieve Gray and one son, Mr. Elmer W. Gray, Jr. of Philadelphia.
The funeral services will be held at the D.A. Striffler chapel and interment will be in Linwood cemetery. The body is schedule to arrive here this morning on the Seminole (train).

Funeral services for Rev. E.W. Gray, whose death occurred in Tampa, Fla., Tuesday night were held from the grave side in Linwood cemetery Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Dr. Osgood F. Cook officiating. The following served as pallbearers: Clyde Woodall, Ralston Cargill, Harry Williams, John Jenkins, Sterling Dudley and J. Homer Dimon.
