June Sanford, 89, formerly of Midwest City, passed away June 29, 2010 at her daughter's home in Stroud, OK. She was born January 2, 1921 in Southland, TX to Russell Earl and Hazel Laura (Thomson) Tyler. A member of Douglas Blvd United Methodist Church of Midwest City, she served for many years as secretary/treasure and Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed reading and working Thomas Kincaid puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon in 2001; parents, 1 brother Joe Tyler and 1 sister Margaret DeMoss. Survivors include, 2 daughters: Sherry Park and David Park of Stroud, OK and Laura Lane and husband Craig of Oklahoma City, OK; her sister Nelda Merrett of Ft. Worth, TX; 4 grandchildren: Tonya, Craig, Heather and Chris; 6 great-grandchildren: Emili, Erynn, Kayla, Brianna, Dakota, James, and one on the way, Khloe. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Midwest City, OK. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneralhome.com.
