Edward H. Bowser, 60, of 260 Chicora RD, Butler died at 11 p.m., Saturday, at his home. Born June 7, 1909 in Manorville, Armstrong County, he was the son of the late Ambrose Bowser and Maude D. (Lasher) Bowser. Mr. Bowser was self-employed building contractor in the Butler area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Engineers of World War II, member of the Butler Carpenters Union and the Butler Veterans of Foreign Wars, charter member of the East Butler Volunteer Fire Company. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruth V. Bowser, Butler; his mother, Mrs. Maude D. Bowser, Felix A. Bowser, also of Kittanning; a number of nieces and nephews. BOWSER - Friends of Edward H. Bowser of 260 Chicora Rd., Butler who died Saturday, Oct. 25, 1969 will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home, East North St., Butler from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Terry Carnahan, pastor of the North Butler Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in North Butler Presbyterian Cemetery. Arrangements by Thompson.
