Mrs. Florence (Snook) Sprankle, aged 54 years and seven months, passed away at the City Hospital, Harrisburg Thursday morning, November 10, following an operation. She was the daughter of the late John David and Amanda Snook. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs Louis (Virginia) Beaudette of Yeagertown, Mrs. John (Alma) Mayes, Lewistown and one son, Clifford Sprankle at home.
The following five brothers and three sisters also survive: Wesley and Stephen, Lewistown; Ross and Wade, Milroy; and Cyrus Snook of Strodes Mills; Mrs. Harry (Rebecca) Ruby, Lewistown; Mrs. James (Ada) Knepp, Yeagertown; Mrs. Elmer (Lillie) Fultz, Reedsville.
She was a kind and affectionate wife and mother and her passing has left an aching void not solely in the hearts of her family circle, but in the hearts of a large circle of friends who will always remember her as a kind neighbor, ever ready to proffer a helping hand and a cheering smile.
Funeral services will be conducted at her late residence, Mifflin, on Sunday afternoon 2:30 o'clock by Rev. R. R. Miller. Interment in St. Mark's Cemetery. (Mike Bartlett)
