Mrs Vergie B Rothrock 65 of West 3rd Street was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Lewistown Hospital Friday evening at 8:25 o'clock. Death was attributed to a heart seizure although Mrs Rothrock had been in failing health for five years. Mrs Rothrock was born at Granville, Nov 20,1898 a daughter of the late John E and Emma M Treaster Walters. She was twice maried first to Charles Anthony Crosson who died July 3,1931, then to William V Rothrock who survives. The following children survive, Charles E Crosson of McClintic Avenue, Mrs Paul (Mildred) Knepp and MissThelma Crosson of McClure, Paul E Crosson of McClintic Avenue, Mrs John (Hazel) Nearhoof of Freedom Avenue,Burnham, and Mrs Bruce (Dorothy) Bollinger of Juniata Street. Other survivors include three brothers Charles Walters of Locust Street, Burnham, Brown Walters of Strodes Mills, and George Walters of Yeagertown, eight grandchildren,and three great grandchildren. Mrs Rothrock was a member of the Calvary Bible Church and the Loyal Women's Bible Class. Services will be held at the Hoenstine Funeral Home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of the Rev Ralph L Norwood. Interment will take place in Saint Marks Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
