Funeral services for Robert "Bob" Cooper Stringer, 75, a native of the True community were conducted at the Olney Methodist church with Rev. W.J. Shelton, pastor, officiating. Until retiring and moving to Olney in 1946, Mr. Stringer was a farmer at True. He belonged to the Methodist church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Newcastle. Survivors: wife; three daughters - Mrs. Nettie Blancett, Mrs. Homer Blancett of Olney, Mrs. Charlie Lowe of Stamford; son - Hall Stringer of Newcastle; four sisters - Mrs. Florence Morris of Fort Worth, Mrs. R.V. Bogy of Olney, Mrs. R.C. Lundley of Graham, Mrs. E.L. Baldwin of Jean; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
