Mrs. E. Evelyn Wilson, 77, Ft. Madison, died at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 1972, in Sacred Heart hospital. She had been ill several weeks.
Mrs. Wilson was born Aug. 23. 1895, near West Point. She was a lifelong resident of the Fort Madison - West Point area.
On April 14, 1915, at Fairfield, she was married to Robert J. Wilson, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Union Presbyterian church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. William A. (Bessie) Herold, Ft. Madison; and five nephews and two nieces.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Her parents were William and Bitha Isenberger Schenck.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Nieters Chapel in Ft. Madison, Reverand Arthur E. Nash officiated. Burial was in Hill Crest Memorial Park.
