CHARLES E. BALDWIN
Charles Ezra Baldwin, son of George Edwin and Elmira Cunningham Baldwin, was born May 27, 1885, at Ada, Kansas. He departed this life Tuesday, December 26, 1950, at the age of 65 years, 6 months and 30 days. He was married to Martha Cordelia Coffield, on December 19, 1916, at Ada, Kansas, and one child, a daughter, was born to this union.
Mr. Baldwin spent most of his life in the Ada community. For a short time, during his youth, his parents lived in California for four years, then returned to the Ada community. Charles engaged in farming in the Ada community for many years, then moved to Minneapolis in 1943 and had lived here since that time.

As a young man he became a Christian and united with the Methodist church at Ada. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. His major interest in life was thoughtful and careful ministry to his loved ones. It was also a pleasure to him to render any service he could to friends and neighbors and he was highly respected by all of them. His cheerful smile and friendly greeting was always a lift to those with whom he came in contact.
Surviving are his wife, his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Webster of Minneapolis; a sister, Mrs. Irwin King, of Lynn, Kansas; a foster-sister, Mrs. Elmer Woolridge, of Council Bluffs, Iowa; two nephews and two nieces. Many other relatives and a host of friends are also saddened at his passing.

Funeral services were held from the Minneapolis Methodist church Friday afternoon, with Rev. W.F. Little officiating. Music was furnished by Glorianne and Diane Schur. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery at Ada.
