She was a teacher in Bloomington schools for 40 years, and for the last 20 years had been a teacher in the Franklin school. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Friday Evening History Club, and the Ariel Club.
Margaret was a lover of flowers and from early spring to late fall, her garden was full of bloom. Growing plants and cut flowers were always to be seen in her class room.
She was survived by a brother Fred Hopping, Alameda, California; a sister, Mrs. Diera, San Jose, Illinois.
