Veteran of World War I, Dies Here
The body of Walter Begley, age 51, a veteran of World War I, is at the Lunenschloss-Doudna Funeral Home, he having passed away at the Richland hospital Tuesday. He was single and made his home with his uncle Thomas Stafford at Boaz where he suffered a stroke Sunday.
He is survived by a brother Leo of Prentice, two sisters, Mrs. Ted Wisted and Mrs. Loyd Thomas, and a half brother John all of Milwaukee.
Funeral services were conducted at St. Mary's Catholic church in this city Thursday morning, Fr. Owen Mitchell being in charge, and burial was made in the church cemetery.
