Kyle Spence, 56, died April 15, 1960. Funeral was held April 17 at the Buffalo Mountain Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Bryan Childress and Rev. Orin Starr, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lelia Iowa Spence;
three daughters, Mrs. Nerine Pope, Ararat, Geraldine Spence, Hillsville, and Shelba Ann Spence, of the home.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Gerty Weddle, Willis, Mrs. Eura Moles, Floyd, and Mrs. Florence McCraw, California;
five brothers, Ten Spence, Rising Sun, Md., Bass Spence, Roanoke, Owen Spence, Roanoke, Bud Spence, Willis, and Clarence Spence, Laurel Fork.
