THE HENRY BULLETIN, Tue., 19 Sept. 1922. [edited]. Mr. Jesse Henry Barrow, age 70, died at his home on Water Street last Friday. Interred at family burying ground near Barrow's Mill. Mr. Barrow was originally from Barrow's Mill, but has been living in Martinsville for the past 15 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Richardson Barrow, and by three daughters and six sons: Mesdames M. T. Hardy of Nevada, Calif., and E. M. Chappell and Miss Hilda Barrow of Martinsville; and Messrs. J. J. of Leakesville, North Carolina; N. C. & F. N. Barrow of Scottsville; W. F., D. M., L. T. and Hugh Barrow, all of Martinsville. Also survived by one brother, George Barrow of Martinsville. [Editor's note: Jesse Henry Barrow was a son of David Barrow and Chaney Davis. bwl]
