He was born to Raymond LeRoy and Beverly (Stapleton) Wagner on February 18, 1964, in Larned, KS, and died in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 north of Drummond.
Raymond grew up in Kansas and Oklahoma. He graduated from Drummond High School in 1982, and then attended Northwestern Oklahoma University for two years. He later resided in Gulfport, MS for ten years, where he survived Hurricane Katrina. He returned to Enid in 2008, and worked for Startek as a customer representative. Raymond was a very intelligent man, interested in computers, and an avid motorcyclist.
He is survived by his father, Raymond Wagner, Sr. and wife Jacqueline of Enid; his mother Beverly Bellar and husband Kenneth of Enid, one son Karl Wagner of the home; fiancée Kimberly Kay and her daughter Sierra West, both of the home; grandmother Marie Stapleton of Cortex, CO, three grandchildren; two brothers, Randy Wagner and wife Carolyn of Enid, and Robert Wagner and wife Francine of Braman; four step-sisters; one step-brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Elsie Wagner and Elmer Stapleton.
