Elmer B. "Sonny" Adams, Jr., 83, of West Memphis, AR, passed away Sunday June 20, 2010 at Crittenden Regional Hospital in West Memphis. Mr. Adams was a member of West Memphis First Assembly of God church and member of the National Rifle Association; member of the Memphis Gun Club. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Adams and is survived by his wife, Wanda Lee (Short) Adams of West Memphis, AR; son, Stephen Adams of West Memphis, AR; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Kay Adams of Hot Springs, AR; three grandchildren, Ashley Cook, Amber Bates and Michael Adms, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Braydon Bates, Landon Garner, Logan Garner and Savannah Adams; his nephew, Phillip Jones and many other relatives and friends. The visitation will be Thursday June 24, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, AR. The service will be Friday June 25, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel and interment following the service in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR. Memorials may be sent to the Building Fund at West Memphis First Assembly of God church: 513 North Missouri Street, West Memphis, AR 72301.
