Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Jan 11 at W. G. Carson & Son Funeral Home, Maquoketa for Max H. Bollinger, 85, of Maquoketa who died Thursday, Jan 9 at Crestridge.
The Rev. Brad Sidle of Andrew Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Delmar. Visitation was to be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday Jan 10 at the funeral home.
Mr. Bollinger was born Nov 7 1900in Elwood to Henry and Agnes Schultz Bollinger. He married Blanche Klemme Sept. 5 1935 in Pocahontas, Iowa.
He was retired from Clinton Engines.
Survivors includes his wife: one son Lowell of Fort Atkinson, Wis.; two grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Pearl O'Donnel of DeWitt; Mrs. Virgil Edwards and Mrs. Edna Hovey of Maquoketa; Mrs. Dorothy Lein, Mrs. Margaret Slyt and Mrs. Etha Pester, all of Crookston, Minn; and one brother Charles of Crookston.
