Ernest C. Kennedy, died at his home in Bethany, Mo., last Sunday, Feb. 20, 1927. Mr. Kennedy was in business in Girard several years, until his health failed. About two years ago he and his family moved to Bethany.

Mr. Kennedy was born near Bloomington, IL, June 30, 1868. He married Miss Mary E. Johns March 23, 1913. To them were born two children, Philip Bruce, who died in infancy and Daniel Wiliam, who with the widow survives him. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Albert Judd and Miss Grace Kennedy of Girard, and a brother, Don F. Kennedy of Colony, KS.

Mr. Kennedy was a member of the I.O.O.F. and A.O.U.W. lodges of Girard.

Funeral services were held at the Christian Church in Girard Wednesday, Rev. W. E. Babb officiating. Burial was in the Myers cemetery.
