Oweida was born October 3, 1920 in Haskell, Texas to Eal and Ola Mae Treadwell. She was a lifetime resident of the area She attended school in Paint Creek and graduated Paint Creek High in 1938. She married Ralph Weaver August 17, 1940. Oweida was the Sunday school teacher at the Plainview Baptist Church for many years. Other than being a good homemaker she worked at several places in Stamford including the Stamford V.I.P. Community Center as the kitchen supervisor for over 20 years. Oweida loved to cook and to go fishing.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Debbie Gilliam and husband Larry of Stamford, 2 sons, Robert Weaver and wife Jamie of Haskell and Danny Weaver and wife Sylvia of Hawley, 1 sister, Jackie Riley and husband Claudie of Albany, 8 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 7 sisters, Nina Earles, Jimmie Trammel, Louise Stinson, Beulah Decker, Billie Freeman, Joyce Chilton, and Wanda Taylor.
The family wishes to thank the Doctors and staff at the Coronado Nursing Center and Hendricks Hospice for their wonderful care of our Mother.
