"Jenny" was a daughter of Johannes (John) Erickson Lerum and Lukris Nelson. Both John and his brother Anders served in the Civil War. John was actually a POW for about 5 months towards the end of the war. Captured at Allatoona, GA. Anders moved from WI to farm in Oakland, MN and finally lived in Hayward, MN. He married Anna Flesche and their daughter, Anna Caroline married my grandfather, Chris Skaar.
