Mrs. Morris died last Friday evening at 9:15 P.M. at the Harriman Hospital after suffering a heart attack at her daughter's home in Harriman. She was returning to her home in Rockwood after visiting her children in Oneida. Tenn.
Mrs. Morris was the widow of the late E.W. Morris, who was well known in this area and for many years operated the Rockwood Machinery Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by three sons. She is survived by five sons: Walter Morris and Lee F. Morris of Oneida, Dewy W. Morris of Detroit, Michigan, E. W. Morris, Jr. and Lloyd Morris of Rockwood; and six daughters; Mrs. Raymond Shipwash of Harriman, Mrs. Audley Smith, Mrs. Eldridge Smith, and Mrs. Vasco Mathews of Oneida, and Mrs. A. J. Harvey and Mrs. Clifford Kirkland of Rockwood. Also surviving are four brothers: Wheeler McFarland of Copper Hill, Tenn., Richard McFarland of Shannon, Ga., Ed McFarland of Calhoun, Ga., and Fintus McFarland, of Blue Ridge, Ga.; two sisters: Mrs Etta Stearns of Inkster, Mich.; and Mrs. Blaine Farmer of Etowah, and thirty-five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
Internment was in Oak Grove Cemetery with Lamb and Coulter in charge of arrangements. Pall bearers were Pat Haun, Clarence Keith, Malcolm Peters, Frank Presley, Fred Russell, and Milliard Walker.
