Texas Coaster, June 16, 1955:

Mrs. Mary Ann Lillie, 83, passed away at her home in Richmond Tuesday. Mrs. Lillie had been a resident of Richmond since 1919. She came to the United States from Austria in 1872 and settled in Texas, and in 1919 moved to Richmond from Frelsburg, Texas.

Rosary services for Mrs. Lillie were held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday by the Altar Guild of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, of which she was a faithful member. A second Rosary service was held Wednesday night at 7:30 o'clock.

Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) morning at 8:45 a.m. at the chapel in Richmond and at 9:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond. Father C.E. Fowler is officiating at all services.

Mrs. Lillie is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mike Pastor of Beasley, Mrs. R.R. Ramsower of Angleton, and Mrs. F.W. Stavinoha of Houston; two sons, O.L. Lillie of Converse and T.B. Lillie of Richmond; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Loeve of Granger and Herman Loeve of Ellinger; and a sister, Mrs. Annie Girndt of Columbus.

Pallbearers are Clayton Frankum, Robert L. Wheaton Sr., Robert Lee Wheaton Jr., Sidney Pastor, William Covell Sr., and Maurice Bryan. Interment was in the Beasley Catholic Cemetery. Garmany-Janca Funeral Home directed the service.

Mother of nine children: Vlasta Ann, Largetus Lambertus "Larkin", Otto Lawrence, Theodore Barnabus, Roxy Belle, Bryon Fred, Mary Valarie, Lavine Lydia, and Leara Leone.
