He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden and was a retired mail carrier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ozella Quarles Anthony;daughter Tammy Anthony; sister, Maxine Harrell and granddaughter, Brandi Anthony. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Anthony of Bearden; one son, Chuck Anthony and his wife Tricia of Bearden; two daughters, Pam Anthony of Bearden and Christy Johnson and her husband Mitch of Star City; one step-daughter, Linda Henry and her husband Pete of Thornton; five brothers, John R.Anthony of Arkadelphia, Lee Anthony of Benton, Bill Anthony of Bearden, Alan Anthony of Sheridan, Dennis Anthony of Bearden; one sister, Jane McClain of Alexander; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
