Karen Mozelle Flud Frazier, 68, and a Blythe native resident, passed away peacefully at her home on Sept. 4, 2010 with her loving family by her side.

She was born Jan. 20, 1942 to Theodore and Anna Mae Flud in Blythe.

She was a dedicated mother, sister and grandmother and will be extremely missed and forever loved by her family and many friends.

Karen spent most of her life in Blythe raising her children and grandchildren, working and most recently quilting in her free time at the Palo Verde College Spring St. Campus quilting class.

She also loved her years as a 4-H mother and being with her grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her five daughters, Jaynella Frazier of Tucson, Ariz., Sherrie Frazier Bolt of Blythe, Pamela Frazier Fore of Phoenix, Ariz., Stacy Frazier Miller of Deming, N.M., Tara Frazier Phipps of Blythe; and former husband of 37 years, Floyd Frazier.

She is also survived by siblings, June (Clarence) Tunnel of Tyler, Texas, Leonard Flud of Blythe, Clifford (Virginia) Flud of Dallas, Texas and Selma Schriner of Blythe; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-granchildren.

She was preceded in death by both her father and mother; siblings Devone Harvey, Troy Flud, Darleen Lomeli and great-granddaughter Jasmine Downs.

A memorial to celebrate Karen's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 10, 2010 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary with interment following at Palo Verde Cemetery.
