Today I've been remembering and learning more about Mike Fry from Co F-1, who died on April 21, 2006. I have to say that in reading about Mike's accomplishments I've been amazed and humbled. Mike graduated 29th in the class and selected Infantry. He earned the Silver Star and Purple Heart while serving with the 101st in Vietnam. In 1970 he became an Olmstead Scholar. I have to say that I didn't know what that was and, after researching it, am quite impressed. He later became the military aide to the then VP George H. W. Bush and was later appointed to the National Security Council serving under Bush and Clinton. That's just part of his amazing career. The following links tell it all.

Many thanks to Reggie Audibert, Dave Martin and Bob Catlin for their eulogies for Mike.
Extremely well done, Mike!
Be thou at peace.
