Abbie Estelle Beasom married Willie Winfrey DeLano on Jun 29,1887. They were the parents of Milton DeLano, my grandfather, and Frank Beasom DeLano, my great uncle. Abbie was a medical doctor, graduating from Womens' Medical College in Chicago in 1884, later part of Northwestern Univeristy Medical School. Abbie practiced in San Francisco with a woman partner for a few years under the name Dr. Abbie E. Beasom before she married, and then retired from practice. She was the daughter of Milton Beasom, born about 1835 in Hudson, MI and Rachel Ramsdell, born about 1839 in Hudson, MI.
