John Gost Barron fought in the War Between The States, was captured and held as POW until the end of the War.

He moved to a farm just south of John Reasor's farm in Cooke County, Texas.

Md (2) Margaret Eveline McElroy (1841-1891) 13 Sep 1866 in Lee Co VA--with children born-
