Age 75, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Monday. He was born May 17, 1892 in Kaukauna where he resided his entire life. He was a graduate of St. Mary's Parochial School and was a machinist for the Chicago Northwestern Railway for 52 years. He was a 50 year member of Council No. 1033 Knights of Columbus, Kaukauna. Mr. Hoolihan belonged to the International Association of Machinists and was employed by the Manitowoc Ship Building Company in WWII. Survivors include three sisters, Miss Cecilia Hoolihan, at home; Mrs. Edward (Mary) Kools, Appleton; Mrs. Bernard (Agnes) Reed, Manitowoc; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Peter Salm officiating. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
