Ruthie Mae Stroud, 87, of Gurdon was a retired school teacher, a homemaker and a member of Hammonds Chapel Church. She was the widow of Clarence Stroud and was preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie Braddock. Survivors include: Three daughters, a sister, and nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral was in Hammonds Chapel Church. Burial was under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
