Mrs. W. H. Harper Funeral Was July 31

Mrs. W.H. Harper, longtime resident of Glasco, died Tuesday, July 28, at the Lewis home for the aged in Beloit, at the age of 88 years,

Mrs. Harper's maiden name was Lizzie Eberhardt and she was born near Glasco on April 2, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Eberhardt, pioneer farmers residing northwest of Glasco. Following the death of her husband who was a prominent stockman, auctioneer and Republican politician, she took up her residence in the rest home.

She is survived by one son, Harry Cossel, of Concordia, and a daughter, Mrs. Leola Rogers, also of Concordia; three brothers, Albert Eberhardt and J.H. Eberhardt, both of Glasco, and W.E. Eberhardt of Kansas City.

Funeral services were held at Dean's Funeral Home in Glasco Friday morning, July 31, with Rev. Gordon Tasker officiating. Interment was in the Glasco cemetery. Pallbearers were C.H. Barrett, W.F. Yenni, Fred Harper, Louis Bonneau, John Harper and Leland Chapin. Organist was Phyllis Struble and singers were Nona Harper and Bernece Harper.
