Mrs. Inglis married Gordon B. Inglis, Jr., March 21, 1947. He preceded her in death January 31, 2010.
Mrs. Inglis taught preschool in Pacific Grove for 17 years. Following retirement, she volunteered at several museums and libraries in Oregon and Washington. She also had a profound interest in nature and environmental preservation. She traveled extensively visiting England, Scotland, Germany, Denmark, Russia, and Sweden.
She is survived by two daughters: Deborah Inglis Schuldt, of Oregon; and Celeste Riner, of California; four grandchildren: Christian Inglis, Eric Riner, Amanda Riner, and Greta Kalar; and two great-grandchildren: Madison Kalar and Emmett Kalar.
Inurnment will take place in Pacific Grove, California at El Carmelo Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Sierra Club. Published in The Monterey Herald on August 29, 2010
