In early life Mrs East became a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church at Huffman, Ind. She lived a life of Christian service, being a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church at the time of her death. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The stars go down, To rise on some other shore, And bright in Heaven's jewelled crown, They shine for evermore.
