Roy Lesllie Bowlsby. 65 year old railroadman of 620 N. Fourth, died Saturday at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 13, 1886, in (Osceola) Iowa and came to Walla Walla in 1921 from Spokane, where he worked for the Milwaukee Railroad. He was a brakeman for the Union Pacific here.

Bowlsby marriied Zoanne Barr here July, 1946. Besides his widow, he is survived by three children, Mrs. Henry (Fern) Gross, Mrs. Karl (Evelyn) Dressen, and Vern Barr, all of Walla Walla; one brother, Len Bowlsby of Des Moines Iowa; one sister, Mrs. James Creig, of Des Moines and four grandchildren.

He was a member of the F.O.E., The Union Pacific Old Timers No. 24 and the B. of R.T. No. 13.

Services are planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at a local chapel. Rev. J. L. Woodford will officiate.
