Beatrice Ivins was the daughter of Danial W and Freda L Giermann Ivins. She was a freemason (recruited by her husband, Roger K) and a school teacher in Hightstown, NJ. She married Roger Kelly Bentley in August 1922 in New York City. For him she bore 1 son, Roger Kelly II (1938-2007).
Her husband died as the result of a car crash on Valentine's Day, 1984. She was in the same car with him and though her injuries were severe, she survived the incident and lived to 6 more years, but she was never really herself after that. She passed on June 12, 1990, peacefully in the night at a nursing home. But where there is death there is always new life. 36 days after her death her oldest granddaughter was married. 3 years later, had she been alive, she would have become a great-grandmother.
