Estes Rogers of Cuba Dies
Cuba, January 17.~ Estes Rogers, sixty years old, died in Cuba Memorial Hospital at six-thirty o'clock Tuesday morning after a long illness.
Mr. Rogers was born in Olean and was the son of Ruth Robbins Rogers and Elias Rogers He was a resident of Cuba the last twenty five years. Surviving him are a daughter, Mrs. Glenn Perkins, West Clarksville: two grandchildren, also of West Clarksville, and a brother, Albert Rogers, Cuba. Mr. Rogers was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He was for many years employed by the Cuba Electric Company.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at the Loveridge funeral parlors, conducted by the Reverend Homer Evans, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Abbott Cemetery.
