Mr. Van Vactor died yesterday afternoon at a nursing home in this city. He was 74 and a retired employee of the M. K. Goetz Brewery Co. A native of Princeton, Mo., he had lived in St Joseph about 29 years. For the past four years, he had made his home in Faucett.
