VIDALIA, La. - Services for Lonnie Collinsworth, 74, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Vidalia United Methodist Church with the Revs. Joe Hoover and Barry Dennis officiating.

Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery near Bienville under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Vidalia.

Visitation is at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Collinsworth was born December 12, 1926, in Friendship.

He was a member of Vidalia United Methodist Church and United States Air Force.

Collinsworth was preceded in death by his father, Kimble Collinsworth; his mother, Maggie Collinsworth; and two brothers, Harold and J.D. Collinsworth.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Collinsworth of Vidalia; two daughters, Sharron Boyter of Sherridan, Wyo. and Judie Collinsworth Jones of Vidalia; two brothers, Charles Collinsworth of Brookhaven and Jim Collinsworth of Saline; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Nick Boyter, Al Fugler, Travis Gore, Jeremy Jones, Alton Pecanty and William Sayer.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Bonner, Dr. Jack Rodriguez, Bennie Stegal and Dr. Randy Tillman.

The family requests memorials be made to Vidalia United Methodist Church or the Leukemia Foundation.
