Marian Jane Church, 68, died at the Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born in Parkersburg on March 19, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Okey Lee Campbell and Betty Jane Giffin Campbell of Parkersburg. She retired from Public Debt and following her retirement became a caregiver which she loved. She enjoyed being outside and working in her garden.

Survivors include her mother; her two daughters, Betty Jane (B.J.) Nichols of Parkersburg and Shelly (Steve) Burke of Parkersburg; one son, Jeff Church of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Stephanie Burke, Sierra Burke and Justin Nichols, all of Parkersburg; and a stepsister, Norma Lloyd of Parkersburg.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Leavitt Funeral Home Belpre with Ron Laughery officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

The family would like to thank her son-in-law Steve for all the help he gave her in her illness.
