Funeral services for Esther Merideth Abston, 83, formerly of Crab Orchard, who passed away at her home in Shreveport, LA, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Haley's Grove Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 15, 1914.
Survivors include her daughter, Martha Ann Rowland of Shreveport; son, James Andrew Abston of Shreveport; grandchildren, Vonnie Cech of Cleveland, OH, Judy Lynn Gribble of Balrico, FL, Marjean Babcock and Jackie Monday, both of Lima, OH, and Pam Moran and Dennis Ingram, both of Austin, TX; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Abston, and son, Jackie Ray Monday....
