Dorothy was born June 7, 1912, at Cozad to Henry and Lavenna (Lorenson) Woodside.
She married Frank J. Schwarz on September 12, 1928, at Smithfield. Frank passed away on November 4, 1981.
Mrs. Schwarz was a devoted mother to ten children, eight boys and two girls. She loved having her children and grandchildren visit and took great pride in all of their accomplishments.
Dorothy was a doll collector, a great cook, gardener and loved her flowers. She will be missed greatly by her family.
Survivors include eight sons and wives, Harry and Phyllis Schwarz of Loveland, Co, Carl Schwarz of Lexington, Robert and Helen Schwarz of Lexington, Raymond and Judy Schwarz of Lexington, Martin "Mike" and Sandra Schwarz of Lexington, Keith and Cindy Schwarz of Phoenix, Arizona, Kenny and Shirley Schwarz of Elwood and Eugene and Nancy Schwarz of Ft. Collins, Colorado; two daughters and husbands, Alice and Floyd Wenburg of Lexington and Martha and Wally Hubbard of Lexington; one brother and wife _______and Viola Woodside of Lexington; 73 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death, besides by her husband, by her parents, five brothers, two sisters, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, January 16, 1998, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lexington with Rev. Don Buhman officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society-Breast Cancer Research.
Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington was in charge of arrangements.
