Albert Hoffarth, 88, Wadena, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1991, in TriCounty Hospital Wadena.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Wadena. Arrangements are with Johnson Memorial Funeral Home, Wadena.
Albert Hoffarth was born Aug. 13, 1903 in Mount Carmel, N.D., the son of Francis and Theresa Hoffarth. He married Agnes Hell Oct. 25, 1927, in Mount Carmel. He farmed in Cavalier County, N.D., until moving to Wadena in 1952. He operated a small dairy farm until 1954 when he went to work at Mericked Lumber Mills, Wadena. He retired in the early 1970s and worked for three summers at Sunnybrook Park, Wadena, Agnes Hoffarth died Oct. 28, 1990.

Survivors are sons, Arlen, Franklin, Wis., and Bernard, Cudahy, Wis., daughters, Dolores Klemisch, West Fargo, N.D., Mary Langer, Wadena, Florence Watters, Albertville, Minn., and Helen Warner North Branch Minn., foster daughter. Theresa Loreth, Callaway Minn., 36 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, brother, Michael, Langdon, N.D. sisters, Angelina Pung, Lewiston, Idaho, Lavina Schill and Juletta Kleinschmidt, both of Langdon, N.D.

He was preceded in death by a son Leon: daughter, Cecelia Drake brothers. Edmund, Tony, Otto, Joseph, Leo and Pius sisters, Anna Mae, Edith and Zenith; and granddaughter, Beatrice.
