William Harrolston Chadwick Jr., 65, of Rossville, died Tuesday, August 2, 2005, in a local hospital. He was a deacon and member of East Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Chadwick was an employee of Sherman-Reilly, Inc., for 25 years, and was the owner of Interstate Blowpipe and Sheet Metal Company in Chattanooga. He was a former member of the Lakeview Jaycees, the Chattanooga Bass Club, the National Rifle Association, Scenic City Sixties Basketball, Team and the Brainerd and Brown Acres Golf Club.

Survivors are his wife, Brenda Chadwick; daughters, Karen "Dee Dee" Chadwick, Rossville, Lynn (Anthony) Byrd, Ringgold; sister Malinda Howard, Providence, Rhode Island; grandson, Chadwick Lee Byrd.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Ronnie Mitchell and Dr. LeRoy Spinks officiating. Interment in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

Active pallbearers will be Wayne Alverson, Gary Alverson, Larry Stophel, Edd Baker, Ray Hickerson, and John Whitt. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of East Ridge Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
