Roy Charles Deal, Jr., 56, of Soddy Daisy, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 17, 2008, at his home. Roy attended East Daisy Church of God. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Ridge and father Roy Charles Deal, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Deal; daughter, Tammy Ables; son, Shane Deal; step-daughters, Kristy Benton and Marie Johnston; grandchildren, Ashley Wilson, Alex Harris, Aimee Ables, Dakota Deal and Hunter Deal; step grandchildren, Christopher Henderson, Allen Benton, Brannigan Benton, Mandy Johnston, Megan Johnston and Matthew Johnston; step great grandchildren, Alyssa Stockland and Elaina Stockland; sisters, Brenda (Stanley) Parker and Elizabeth Brown; brothers, Robert (Connie) Britt, John Deal, Earl Deal, Benny Deal, Dotsie Deal and RoRo Deal along with several nieces and nephews who will love and miss him. Services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bryon Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
