The son of Johanna, nee Fiedler, and Martin Schuldt, HENRY J. SCHULDT, a Lineman 2nd Grade at District No 3 in Chicago, was thirty-three years old and had accrued thirteen years of service at the Commonwealth Edison Company, including eleven years of experience is his job classificiation when he was injured by a pile of cement bags falling onto his back while he was digging in a hole at 52nd Street and Hoyne Avenue on Tuesday October 8, 1935. He was paralyzed from the waist down and permanently disabled. Schuldt later died from uremic poisoning.
Shuldt, survived by his wife Marian, nee Ruhnke, and their nine year old son Robert, was buried at Saint Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Illinois.
