Mrs. Clarence Alsbrook

Mrs. Marie Flowers Alsbrook, widow of Clarence Alsbrook, died unexpectedly early Sunday morning at her home.

Funeral services were held at 11 am Tuesday in St. Albans Episcopal Church, officiated by the Rev. E. Weston. Burial followed in the Williamsburg cemetery, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home.

Mrs. Alsbrook was born in Hemingway, a daughter of the late Albert and Olivia Flowers. She was educated in Williamsburg County schools.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dorace A. Vesperman of Atlanta, and Mrs. Harold Loper of Macon, Ga.; one son, Clarence Alsbrook, Jr. of Greensboro; three grandchildren; one brother, T. W. Flowers of Hemingway, and four sisters, Mrs. John Carter of Kingston, N.C., Mrs. E. H. Grimes of Washington, D.C., Mrs. E. W. Clapp of Macon, Ga., and Mrs. Scott Monroe of Florence.
