Columbian Circle No. 7. of the Western Star lodge of the Royal Order of Moose, and the Electrical Workers union. No. 9. participated In funeral services yesterday afternoon for J. M.
Philip Bender, 6409 Carpenter Street.
Mr. Bender was born in Bloomingdale, November 13. 1867. He moved to Chicago 50 years ago and became an electrician. He was employed in that capacity by the city of Chicago until his death.
He married Elizabeth May in 1889.
His death occurred Wednesday after an Illness of three weeks.
The services were conducted at his late residence. Interment at Oakridge cemetery.
