Juanita Bigger Cobb, 101, of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in Quitman, Texas. She was born May 28, 1912 in West New Hope Community in Titus County, Texas the daughter of Marvin Jackson and Auzie Lee (Thomas) Bigger.

Juanita is a retired teacher from the Dellview Elementary School in Northeast ISD, San Antonio, Texas. She was a member of the Martha Laird Chapter, National Society of Daughters of American Revolution, Korweldeen Club, Titus Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and Tennison Memorial United Methodist Church in Mount Pleasant.

She is survived by her children, Howard Lynn Cobb of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Lynda Cobb Gibson and her husband Jerry Hollis Gibson of Quitman, Texas, and Nita Cobb Watson and her husband Wilburn Watson of Mount Pleasant, Texas; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Gholston of Carthage, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ephriam Howard Cobb; a sister, Orita Bigger Morrison; brother, Lawrence Bigger.

A service of Death and Resurrection will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Broadstreet Mullins Chapel at Tennison Memorial United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
