Louise Earthman, 85, former resident of Oklahoma City, died Saturday, February 24, 1990 in Enid, OK. Born August 2, 1904 in Murfreesboro, TN. She did her undergraduate work at Middle Tennessee State University at Murfreesboro and received her R.N. Degree from St. Thomas/Vanderbilt University Hospitals in Nashville. She married Dr. William Ward Rucks on December 10, 1928. Her newspaper column ""Hound Hill'' appeared in the Oklahoman & Times for over 30 years and she traveled extensively to sho w Cocker Spaniels she bred for show. She was the recipient of ""National Dog Writer of Year Award'' two years in a row and served two terms as National President of the Dog Writers Ass'n. Mrs. Rucks was preceded in death by her husband Dr. William Ward Rucks and her daughter, Sally McFarland Rucks. Survived by daughter, Margaret Rucks McCune, Enid, OK; son, William Ward Rucks III, Lafayette, LA; 7 grandchildren, William Ward Rucks IV, Margaret Rucks Laborde, Elizabeth Anne Rucks, Margaret Allison McCun e, Joseph Rucks McCune, Evelyn Ruth Hughes and Louisa Douglas McCune; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Webber Earthman,
