Derstine, --- Mamie W., daughter of the late Bishop A. O. and Emma (Wismer) Histand, was born in Bucks Co., Pa., Oct. 5, 1894. On Oct. 9, 1915, she was married to Clarence F. Derstine. She and some of the family had gone to Martinsburg, Pa., on May 3, 1953, to attend the ordination to the ministry of her son-in-law, Clyde Fulmer, and while there she died suddenly of a heart attack. She was a faithful member of the Mennonite Church. Surviving are her husband and 6 children (Chester, Hilltown, Pa.; Norman, Broadway, Va.; Walton, Dublin, Pa.; Gladys-Mrs. Emil Thiessen, Hillsboro, Kans.; Beulah-Mrs. Clyde Fulmer, Harrisonburg, Va.; and Kermit, Harrisonburg, Va.). One daughter and one son preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at the Doylestown Mennonite Church, May 8, by Silas Graybill and Joseph Gross, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. --
