Hazel Nelson Lewis was right next to saint hood. Born in Weldon Tx. South of Lovelady to Dr. Joseph Henry Nelson & Vanada Goodrum Nelson She found good in people no matter how bad they were. She worked at the Lovelady State Bank when it was in what is now city hall. There was no a/c or computers back in those days. She loved house work, cooking & lots of yard work. She was married to Edger Lewis, who had a barber shop in Lovelady, They were married almost 50 years, no children. Edger had a heart attract & Hazel died of cancer. They both have been misses by me & others.
