Julian Love Branche was born Jan. 7, 1926 in Miccosukee to the now late Pearl and Love Branche. He passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010 in Thomasville at the age of 84.

A retired veteran of the US Navy, Julian was a decorated Korean veteran. After his retirement he went on to work for the State of Florida.

He leaves to cherish his memory, children; Michelle Whatley (Tom), Stephen Branch (Karen), Claude Harper, Larry Harper (Gloria), and Susan Consoli (Louie); son-in-law, Wayne Chester; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Chester and his wife, Tertia Branche.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 3 at Faceville Methodist Church, in Bainbridge, Ga. There will be a viewing immediately prior to the services at 10 a.m.

After the Bainbridge services, Julian will be transported to Apalachicola. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 at Kelley Funeral Home, followed by military honors in Magnolia Cemetery.
