Paul T. Kujava, 87, of 23 Van Ettan Ave., died Monday (Feb. 11, 2002) in Warren General Hospital. He was born Dec. 14, 1914, in Sheffield, the son of Andrew and Anna Hanusik Kujava. A lifelong Sheffield resident, he was a veteran of World War II ,serving with the 32nd Regiment, the Queen's Own of Hawaii, 7th Division in the Pacific Theater, and was wounded on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Island. He was employed by Pennsylvania Bottle for 19 years, Jones Chevrolet and retired from the liquor store in Warren. He was a charter member of Michael and Nickolas Peroski Veterans of Foreign Wars, Chapter 75 Disabled American Veterans, a life member of the Military Purple Heart, and a member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge 223. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Angeline Zaffino Kujava, whom he married April 26, 1952, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Warren; and two sisters: Anna Pierson of Sheffield and Helen Fornari of Butler, Pa. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Carmella; and three brothers: Ludwig, Joe and John Kujava.
